My first busy weekend away from home.

Well... I've had a busy weekend. I got another job so now I might be able to afford some furniture for my apartment. I think I want a bed and maybe a couch in the living room... we'll see. Anyway, I went to Africa on Saturday, but I was back by dinner. You see, I had to meet a certain lion in the Serengetti Plain for an interview. He was a reporter from "The After Dinner Tribune" and he wanted to know what it was like being an apartment owner in the United States. Apparnetly, the lions, after having their fill of game, like to ponder the lives of those across the oceans and between the lot of them, they could afford to fly me over there, which was a lot easier then one of them coming to interview me here in the Unitd States. Airplane seats aren't built for lions. We discussed the obvious segregation between Lions and humans and the racism between the species, which is known to them as Special Supieriority complex, or SSC for short. The lions were very hospitipal and shared with me a leg of zebra. I never knew zebra tasted so good. Anyway, the reporters name is Sangi and I have some pictures which may take a while to get printed. Also, he promised to send me a copy of the paper when it was published. It's a monthly paper, so it'll take a while. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Ding Dong, the wicked witch is dead, and so is my doorbell

I don't know what's wrong with it... Well... actually, I do know what's wrong with it. It doesn't work, that's what's wrong with it. But how do I fix it? I don't know. Anyway, I guess people will just have to knock. But there is a problem with knocking... it gets me no where... I don't understand, the front door worked earlier... I wonder what happened... Anyway, at least I have my magic list to navigate through my apartment. So... on a different note, prefferably a b flat. I don't like sharps... they hurt too much. I decided to go for a mental jog and I made it around he world in a couple hours. Of course I was exhasted by the time I got back so I took a walk downtown and saw a bunch of pot-bellies and long hair playing rock music and I saw a lady who looked like she wasn't real... I mean she wasn't see-through or anything, she was quite opaque... but there was something about her movements that were strange and beautiful at the same time. She reminded me of a certain dancer I know. It's like she's from a dream, but not my dream. I dreamt about sitting on a sandless beach listening to a Spanish Barbershop quartet over my laptop. She wasn't there... just downtown. So in conclusion, bye.

Windows

I just noticed my windows. They're windows! How weird, it's like I'm inside a computer or something. Nothing happens if I touch them... yet. That might be fun but I can't think of what should happen if I do touch them. Anyway, I bought myself a housewarming gift... no not a heater, although that is a good idea, I bought a welcome mat, so now anyone is welcome. Before I bought this one, there was one here that said, "Go away!!!" This is much better.

What's with the doors?

Hey... the doors don't all work. I have to call my landlord to have them fixed. I don't have a landlord. Ok... I need Josh's help here, but until I get them fixed, I can still get around by useing that magical map that came with the place. All I have to do is touch the room I want to be in and voila, an instrument appears... either that or I end up in the room that I touched. Also, I have a list of everything in my apartment that has the same magical quality.

Moving Day

Well... it's been a long time since I signed the contract, but today is my first day at my new place. It's everything I imagined an apartment could be. It has two bedrooms and one bath. My roomate is Josh Thompson. He's a good quiet sort of fellow who says he's going to help around the apartment. It's still kinda empty based on the fact that I haven't furnished it at all yet. That should come soon. I don't know how long I can sleep on the floor before I cause a serious injury to my back. And the bathrrom and the kitchen need a lot of work, but hey, the apartment's brand new, very cheap, and mine, all mine. And my roomates, but the part that isn't his is mine, all mine. It's amazing that all my old stuff fit into that small closet that I have. Well... I guess I didn't have a lot of stuff. but there's a lot of stuff still to move in. I'll have to move it in little by little becasue I'm kinda busy right now with school and stuff, but I will do the best I can to make this place feel like home as soon as possible.
